Looking to sell my Honda CB500 Four. Don’t ride it much, when I do it’s a blast. Not really a single issue with the bike. Everything is super clean. Looks about as close to as coming out of a time capsule as you could imagine. Has 14k on the odometer.

$5000obo

Will respond to PM on here

I want it but don't have the room. How do you like that Beta? I almost bought one a few years ago.

GLWS - I’m a fan of the CB line and have a CB400-F project bike in the shop.

Will you accept a trade? I have a 12’ insulted garage door with tinted windows and a side mount lift… along with a 10’ trampoline with safety net but it has a few small rips in it from my dog.

Let me know.

You must be the same 29 guys who are messaging me on Facebook about it. I keep the carbs drained and the bike is tucked away in the garage. Some guy locally says he’s interested. Asks all the reasonable questions. Doesn’t try to lowball me on Facebook. He says hes borrowing a truck and can be over in 20 min. So I race home from work, I get the bike out, put gas in it, air up the tires, he comes over, takes it for a spin, ran it pretty hard down my street. Ok, whatever that was kinda uncool to rip it that hard imo , but bike runs good. Says how flexible are you on the price. I say idk the ad says firm but I’m resonable. What is your offer.

HE SAYS $2300.00! I about screamed. I said are you joking? I told you I was busy and raced home to show it to you since you supposedly were on borrowed time with the truck. If you were going to offer less then half just do it up front. Waste of fucking time. I’d rather burn it and post a video onto the CB Facebook page and watch everyone cry then give it away to some fuck stick.

And other FB peoples requests,

1. Can you ship bike to India.
2. Have to have full maintenance records from 1971
3. Is it the original clutch
4. Is it the original pistons.
5. “Is this available” - then never replies.
6. Has it ever been laid over?

How the fuck should I know. I was negative 18 years old when this bike was built. It’s not a Ferrari 250 GT from France where someone kept a log book of maintenance intervals and has a pedigree I can trace. It’s a old Honda street bike. The bike is perfect. It will run over 100 miles an hour, sounds like an Indy car, no rust, no dents, original paint, I just literally don’t ride it. It’s fit for a museum. People are such morons.

I would like to purchase your item. I'm in the Service in Iraq, so I'm out of the country.. But my secretary will gladly give you a cashiers check for the full amount upon delivery of your item. How does this sound to you, sir?

I truly believe that a bunch of dumb questions are just a means of phishing. Idk🤷‍♂️, just my feeling.

Bump!

Thought I had it sold from a guy on Facebook but then when he was supposed to come get it, his dog unexpectedly died that same day and he needed the money to cover an emergency burial…. Or so he said.

Walked out of a pub CincoDeMayo and just so happened to see this 750/Four sitting there. Looked quite tidy.
