Any market for this thing? 1973 Correct Craft with a 351 Ford and Velvet drive. At a glance it looks pretty clean. Dads buddy is selling it.

Cool piece! For reference I used to have a 1981 Ski Tique which was the 17’ -9” version of this with a 302. Partner and I dumped way too much money into it but it was a pretty clean ride when we sold it. I bought him out before selling and had Trail Rite build a brand new dual axle trailer for it about a year before I sold. If I remember right I got a little over 9k for it about 6 years ago and it sold pretty quick. The boat market now is bonkers now so maybe he can get more.

Here’s a few pics of mine:

There's a following for OG tournament style boats and forums for people into them. I'd check em out

Would $9000 be a realistic number for this boat?

You might consider contacting Nautique and see if they’d be interested in it as a showpiece for their facility

Try this site.

only thing bad with that era of boat is the wood stringers and it’s Past the point of some young kids putting a tower on it and making it a cheap wakeboard boat like the do with the late 80s models. It would most likely end up with a collector from the site I posted above. Maybe even someone on lake arrowhead or similar would like it for a talking piece to cruise around the lake. Either way cool boat!
