anyone have a line on a 1959 Buick 2 door invicta or similar. Looking to purchase a solid car to build. Running and driving would be best. But projects will be considered. I’m in Tucson. But willing to travel for the right car. Pic for reference

I've been watching the buick market for a few years now and the late 50s to mid 70s electras and invictas have gone nuts in price. Most cars I'm seeing pop up are in the mid west

We have a 58 convert in the paint shop we are doing for a guy. And yes they have gone pretty stupid lately in price. Bad ass cars though.

The car I posted was for sale for 50k. Some guy bought it and now it’s 69.5k. He did nothing to the car.

You been back to Dinos Chevy Only since I saw you a couple years ago? I’m thinking about going this year.

The first car that I remember my family getting was a 1957 Buick Special, that they bought used in 1959. I remember it vividly, because I punched another little kid (I was 4) in the face because he was running a toy car along the side of the fender, as my Dad was talking to the salesman. I told him to stop. He didn't and it turned into FA/FO. He FO. Even back then, I made it clear that NOBODY fucks with my vehicles. Below is an identical car.

I would love a vert but not in the cards right now. Kinda like my Lincoln. Wish it was a vert. But not possible with prices these days

Dave Kindig's Blue Suede Shoes Invicta is a killer example of his design genius and the talent his shop personnel possess.
