19' spectra - will a rack steering fit?

anyone done the conversion from rotary to rack? Without having the cables in hand its hard to tell. I can't seem to find anything online with dimensions of the rack.

I don't know if you have gotten an answer to your question but you could try calling Jet Boat Performance. They were quite helpful with questions I had with my first boat.

Rack will work fine there will be a longer cable need and will run down the rite side gunnel

Did you ever convert to the rack? I was wanting to do the same on my 19' as the steering is about shot

I used a duel cable rotary on mine I was running big H P and needed it
to help control it at hi speeds 90+ a rack will work fine.

My last project 19 had a rack with the cable run down the left side. Seemed to work except they had bent the transom tube so it was grinding. I was planning on using it in my new project 19 when I get to it.

ordered the rack system, hoping that I can get it installed over the 4th weekend. I'll post pictures when done

Yes, I upgraded my Formula 19 to rack. Works great
