I know it 'needs' it in a big way . . . but I hope to sneak in 1 more trip before they start so I can say goodbye to the crickets & bugs in the room !
Lots of great memories in that old place . . . . hate to see it go & lose it's charm . . . but I know it's long overdue.

$10 million redevelopment plan for Cottonwood Cove resort unveiled on Lake Mohave

A $10 million redevelopment plan for Cottonwood Cove Resort & Marina was unveiled Wednesday as the concessionaire announced a new 25-year lease on the site.

Hopes and dreams to get all of that done on $10M. The courtesy dock thing they want to install won't help with congestion in the marina. As it is, too many idiots linger right in front of the ramp waiting for their trailer instead of waiting at a distance and out of the way. Some additional courtesy dock won't help with that.

Interesting how they mention changing the trailer village to more short term use. I hope they don't because the advantage of Cottonwood is that there isn't much in the way of short term accommodations, which keeps the crowds down, which we certainly prefer. But if I owned one of those places in trailer village, I might be concerned. Is it the intent to kick those out (they can because it's park service land) and replace them with something else? That'll be a real shit show if all that were changed into places people could rent for weekends.
