If you ever saw what the syrup lines look like in a fast food place, you might rethink ordering a Coke. Even the Ice machines gross me out.

Not sure how busy it is. But I remember in the early 80’s my buddy would walk there after a night of drinking when the walk in was closed. He would go thru the drive thru in his flip flops. Lol

Crispy melt tacos when they come around are tasty, basically a new school version of the old school taco lights
mexican pizza good
Beefy 5 layer
taco supreme
nacho supreme
nacho fries or even better grilled cheese nacho fries with steak, lol
note you can order any burrito, and ask to put in tray covered in red sauce and cheese for the old school enchirito
i do miss meximeltsl those were tasty and simple cheese and pico rolled up. Great while driving

meximelt = soft taco - lettuce + 3 cheese blend + Pico. Put it in the steamer (if you find a location that still makes pico)

enchirito = combo burrito + 3 cheese blend + red sauce. specify on the outside, put in the steamer


I worked at the tacobell in savi ranch in hs. I've got the menu dialed including most of the old items.




the beans are dehydrated, just add water beans no matter what location you go to. The flavor isn't going to change, maybe just how much water they add.

Could never bring myself to eat at JITB based on the reputation, but tended bar in one of those high end restaurants in '74. Place called The Dry Dock. Their menu was top notch.

I remember as a kid in San Diego when JTB was buffet style. They had bins with Hamburgers, cheeseburgers fries and onion rings. Put what you want on your tray and pay at the end of the line.
