    Well, I tend to trust the actual airport gas more than public pump stuff, and I suspect it might be cheaper too. Man, I've filled up my boat at airports all over Arizona, but some airports are getting persnickety about it, and some not allowing it at all anymore. Even lonely country airports...

    Old thread, I know... renew? I too have heard that blurb about Avgas not being good for high rpm engines, yet have run it for years. I sure wish I knew more about the technical side of that argument however. Someone just guessing because airplanes really are low rpm engines?? Or true...
