    RV Trip

Same here, Good Sam's trip planner. Let's you save trips, so you can do more than one or options. I like that it will show you campgrounds along your route as well at at your destination, so it helps finding decent places.

    OnStar gone Sirius XM next??

I had SiriusXM in my car and for the MH. Since I only drive the MH about 30 days a year, it was a waste. Dropped the MH radio. This still gives you access to SiriusXM in their phone app. As such, you really only need one radio active, and can Bluetooth from your phone using the app, to any...

    Yellowstone Season 5 E1

I believe he's planning a spinoff show called 6666 about that Ranch and Jimmy will be a main character. Yeah, she was on house arrest at the ranch. Now that John's gone, she may go back to jail. Not present in this episode, since it started at the end, but may be in others between "6 weeks...

    LOTO questions.

Well, I booked my RV spot for the LOTO shootout next year. I'll be staying at the Lake Ozarks RV Resort off road KK, around MM26. Since the new race course is at MM19, we won't be far. My parents are going to get a VRBO/Airbnb in the area and bring a boat. I've scheduled to be there 2 weeks...

Mattresses. Is there a mattress worth $5,000?

I had a Lull memory foam for a number of years. Had some Sciatica issues and always noticed they lessened when we went away for vacation and I slept on the Sleep Number bed in my RV. When the Sciatica got really bad, I bit the bullet and bought a Sleep Number for the house. Within 6-8 weeks...

School me on outboard engine placement/set up for twins

A couple of thoughts here: With those blunt nose gearcases and side water pickups, you won't be able to go up very much before having water pressure issues. Jack plates do give you the ability to mess with engine height and allow for shallow water maneuvering, which is helpful. If the boat...

Shooting "long guns" at 10 yard steel targets ?

IDPA says 10 yds minimum for pistols. USPSA says 100yds minimum for rifles. I've seen 50 yds in competition. Must need quite a bit of hold-over compensation at 10 yds. LOL

    Looking for a DP Motorhome

Seems like he did a lot of work to update the look, but didn't change the layout or functionality much. The shower got a decent upgrade though. That's the same dinette I have, and it's just barely big enough for 4.

I've been very happy with the interior of my '03. Does everything I need. I do like the "J" dinette better, as it seems like a better use of space and more people could sit at the table to eat, but hell, it's only me now anyway.

The engine doesn't have EGT probes stock, so there is no data to see. You'd have to add a probe and run the wire all the way to the front. I really wish someone offered a BT transmitter/receiver for MH's, to avoid this. as the thermocouple wire is special and cannot be spliced or regular wire...

Make sure you run that AH diesel burner at least once a month, up to full temp, to keep the nozzle from gumming up.

He ain't lyin'! A CAPS failure will cost you over 10k to fix. My FIL's Foretravel U295 has the ISL400 with this system, and he's somewhat concerned about it. He has added the FASS fuel system for filtering and additional lift pump volume, to hopefully keep the CAPS happy for as long as possible.

I think your talking about Silverleaf, and they in fact, have stopped production of their product called VMSpc. I have one and love it. Too bad there aren't many good options on the market for this anymore. There is one option called BlueFire, my FIL had one and didn't really like it...moved...

    Looking for a DP Motorhome

If I were looking, here's a few things I'd be looking for: - outboard airbag suspension (not inboard) for better ride and stability - tag - adds weight, but also control and one more set of tires on the ground should anything go wrong. - original MSRP by year. A 20 year old coach that was...

    Wireless RV rear view cameras

I have this kit (which appears to no longer be available): https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08MJCJJJ5 Installed one camera at the top rear of my MH for rear view and the license plate camera for lining up on the hitch ball. Works good, but there can be some lag/delay in the picture. I'm...
