Story I heard from an NHRA official was plane lost power and can up short. I believe it crashed in the RV parking area. We wanted to camp there but it was sold out. Bad deal. RIP for those that didn’t make it.

Wind blew every day, but never got very cold until late afternoon. We were there Friday through yesterday afternoon and saw some great racing and testing on Monday. Both the grenaded rear ends put a fork in the days racing. We ended up with a spot in the Veranda RV lot, worked out great.

That’s the trackside, was the other section available?

I’d imagine the good spots are filled up, but it’s worth a shot.

It might be a long shot, BUT, wife and I had a pregnant idea to go to the drag races in Vegas next weekend and camp at the track. They don’t list availability online and office is closed today so won’t know if they even have availability till tomorrow. Anyone do this at the drag strip before?
