Hypertherm 30 Airs are pretty sweet. They have a built in air compressor, so the air stays cleaner that if you run it from an external one. Little more pricey, but maybe find one a used one. They are built tough and hold up to abuse well.
Like someone said above, clean, dry air is important.

Seems like the Hot Boat issues indicated these came stock with a hydraulic jack plate. Does yours have one? Either way, is that something I should invest in?
