I had a 24' SKV. It was a 1986 built by Hallett that I bought in 1988. The HIN started with BAR which was the give away. Power was a 365 HP 454 and mine had a TRS drive on it. Never an issue with the drive but not something I would have stuck with if I kept the boat. Jim Frisbee came over to...
Hey Jared, Brandon helped me realize yesterday who you were when I started telling him about this guys cool RV trip with his family! I said, jeez I'm an idiot! I was looking at the pics of your truck and the family photos thinking they look really familar but I didn't put 2 & 2 together lol...
Yeah, lots to do and see in that area. If and when you do go back, see if you can figure out a way to take a side trip ( long one) to Little Big Horn. It's the site of Custer's Last Stand and it's really worth the trip. Do a tour with a park ranger and you'll be blown away at how it all went...
I was looking at your pics and it brought back a lot of great memories from virtually the same trip I took with my family in 2001 in our RV. One of my young sons on that trip is known as Lake Mead Boater on RDP. Wondering if this last pic is the Rafter J Bar campground in Hill City? Enjoy it all...

I use an Unger window washing unit and it works great but the resin doesn't seem to last very long. Looking at the on the go unit as it seems to get better mileage on the resin.

Why the double at the lake and the single at home?
For the record, Nick was not driving that 360 on the rocks. It was a customers boat, driven by the customer. I'll add that the customer was a very experienced boater. This boat was #1 or #2 out of the mold. Not a friendly design.
I hope it’s that simple for you. Seems to me that if your not smelling fuel at idle and the boat runs good from plane to WOT it doesn’t seem like a rich condition.
Look at post #76 item 5. Don’t rule out hydraulic leaks from your steering, your drive or your trim tabs. I had the same problem with a leaky drive ram fitting. Huge mess.
