Working in a warehouse and riding a forklift, once in a great while I push a 40x48 pine wood pallet with about 2k lbs on it across the concrete floor and it smells like my Grandma's lake house I spent my childhood summers at. I stop what I am doing for about 90 seconds and enjoy the moment.
That's awesome. When I bought my steel Pepsi it also came on Oyster. I was fortunate because I got a Jubilee bracelet for it as well in that very small and limited window Rolex allowed them to be ordered.
You grab a SARU when you have everything you want in the catalogue and you have an affinity for Rolex Pepsi's. I agree about the Meteorite GMT. It truly is incredible and is the best frivolous purchase I have ever made.
Had an 01 HTM SS24 for a lot of years. Turned up Procharged 565. It fuucked up everybody on the river in Northern Michigan. 132 on GPS on the limiter and got there ultra fast. I miss it. Its sitting in a warehouse somewhere last I heard and the owner is afraid of it.
5 gallon bucket of water. Fill it half way and put black bird seed in the water. Put bucket in a place where they easily can get into it.
The bucket will be full of Chipmunks by the time you circle the house.
To add to this thread, I am in middle of nowhere Indiana and home prices are ratcheting higher and higher and selling almost instantly.
For instance, 3 bed 1 bath home down the street with foundation issues. 1400 sqft. , normally a 130k house. Listed for 399 and sold in 3 hours last week.
I agree. The guys with the RM and the Rainbow both had Meteorite GMT's in their collections as well. The GMT punches way above its weight class for sure.
