I agree with much of what’s been said about the Pomona event. Like most everyone else here I’ve had a front row seat to the changes. I went to a lot of races especially when my sis worked for NHRA for 18 years and I’ve always had many friends competing.
Many of you know my sister as she’s...
For those who didn't read that Car Culture is dead in California on the NHRA thread here's a partial list of April events in Southern California. I hope this doesn't destroy your view of the health of California Car culture. Probably a decent number of events in the middle and Northern part of...
I'm really disappointed to hear Car culture and motorsports in California are dead. 3 days ago we had 160 cars attend the tiny Street legal Dragway shootout, I was looking forward to Twilight Cruise at the NHRA museum tomorrow, Via Verde Car Cruise on Friday, Bonelli Bluffs show on Saturday and...

I roll pretty much every weekend year round, as well as research where to shoot for my youtube channel and just 2 days ago I was racing against one of my high school boys at Street Legal Dragway in...
I also miss the speed parts vendors in the midway, the tower side seating (closer to the track), the long burnouts and full length 1320 tracks. Since I'm rollin let me add I hate that I can't pay cash in the NHRA tent!
I'll still go get my Nitro fix, but it's hard to forget how good it used to...
Very true! These old fockers get up at 4:00 am every morning regardless. They would rather sit outside a show entrance with their buddies who also can't sleep vs sitting at home twiddling their thumbs for 2 hours so that's what they do.
Damn you guys have some nice jeeps!
Side by sides are now $65,000?!? I thought they were like 20! What is an "enclosed" side by side? Yes, I'm clueless about these things.
