It does look bigger in the pics people have posted after the accident.
They are vertical!...and in good spirits and we can finally rest easy. Definitely going to require quite a bit of recovery for my dad...but he's already ready to get back on the water ASAP. Unfortunately it won't be in...
He was going 50-60 mph and this is only a 23' boat. It was solely water condition. He caught a wake that came at him quick. They went up, and when it came down it stuffed the port sponson and they both launched out the starboard side. Luckily he removed the bimini yesterday morning...
Thanks...
All opinions here are so irrelevant as everything was handled exactly as it should have been. Sheriffs department has everything they need. Boat is irrelevant too. They are alive.
One is still in the hospital. Why is this anyone else's business? I appreciate you being there to stay with the boat but that is the least of our concern right now. Getting them help and off the water was priority.
Thanks Scott and Laila for a wonderful weekend!
Although the afternoon naps were quite dreadful, it was so nice to see the ole' guy get to relax, sit in the passenger seat, hold his GoPro stick, and start drinking (a little) earlier than usual!:p
