Biggest problem we had was fuel. We did 1500 miles off road from Nevada to Canada through Idaho. Incredible trip over 7 days. Beautiful scenery, but some very remote, necessary refueling spots where we got sub-par gas. Advertised as 91 but guessing it was in the mid 80’s and had water in it...
You don’t leave it there.. you configure it for the adventure when you over-night etc…
We put all the luggage on the roof to clean up the interior for the camera folks and their gear. Worked out great. Stayed in an one-man backpacking tent on the ground.
