Yes, he was very lucky. It's not all that uncommon though. I have a friend that raced at CFW and boated all the time in Nor Cal and couldn't swim at all. And I've seen several people here in Florida get caught up in the rip currents that apparently couldn't swim either. It's crazy :oops:

LOL.... I love the drive to the Keys... I drove from Nor Cal to Marathon to see my brother and stopped at as many beaches as I could along the way. It took me a month and a half and I didn't even see half of them! But damn, that's a long drive, a helo would be nice!
