Prime/sealer and paint are done, 70 gallons worth! Ready for the next stage.
Finally got the foundation backfilled and put down some temp rock so when it rains we're not traipsing in mud. Hoping to get the exterior paint done in the next couple weeks before our vacation/anniversary trip to...
Drywall is up, taping and mud is almost done. Just a bit more touch-up and then texture. Paint needs to be done by the 25th.
Finally able to level out the garage now that the dirt isn't frozen solid. Compaction, rock and more compaction so we can pour the floor.
Took today off and went to play...
Looks clean but for that price, I would expect it to be "bulletproofed" and egr deleted.
There are some good 6.0's out there. I happen to have one still. Stock with 133k on the clock with regular maintenance and EGR replacement only. I'll open it up and bulletproof it when needed, but with as...
The boat is nothing to look at, but we sure have a lot of fun. We're still about 1.5 months away from getting out on the lake, but it's worth the wait.

Dave Smith here in N Idaho was the best pricing. Largest Dodge/Ram/Chrysler dealer in the world and 30 miles from the nearest Stop light. I worked there for a short stint. I sold trucks to people all over the western US (including Hawaii and Alaska) because nobody could beat the pricing. I'm...
That's nowhere near $16k! Run away from that company as fast as you can!
I'm not sure what that pump runs but I can't imagine it being more than $1.5k at most, the tank is right about $1k.
We have a temp water setup that is similar to this while we waited for our well to be drilled. I've got...
Siding complete! Now it's time for me to sling a bunch of caulk/paint prep.
Drywall delivered this week
And of course now that everything is starting to dry up, we're expecting more rain this weekend. At this rate the whole house will be done before we can even get the foundation...
Is this still the inexpensive intercom/radio solution?
Looking to setup 3-4 different cars.
@LargeOrangeFont you mentioned a parts list way back when this thread started, do you have this list still?
Been a couple weeks of delays, didn't pass rough HVAC or Air Seal inspections. Then the county wasn't doing inspections for a week. Finally got the bugs worked out to pass inspection on Monday and get things moving again.
Wall and under floor Insulation complete:
Siding got started this week...
Ice in the garage ended up being about 8" thick in some parts. Heater wasn't putting a dent in it, so i had to break out the digging bar and shovel to get it out. Still need to back fill the garage and exterior foundation, IF we can get a break in the weather. Sure would be nice to pour the...
He's lucky all he got were some bruises and broken leg. Moose are not to be messed with.
We were out on the dirt bikes a couple years ago and came around a corner to almost run into one, would have hurt me more than him for sure.
Exactly why I'm staying on top of our contractor and subs during our build. Making sure things are done right the first time. Thankfully we're living on property to allow me to do so.
That is absolute insanity! I feel bad for anyone that has to deal with that.
Worst I have had was years ago, 3:45 to go 52 miles from West LA to OC. I was pulling out what little hair I had left.
