Hey All!

So it looks like our solar inverter went out and because the system we purchased is from Peterson Dean we are hosed on our warranties and so on. Anyone have a recommendation for a solar repair company that you have used for this type of work? SolarEdge sucks as supposedly they will warranty the inverter but they are only taking calls from installers due to high call volume, you can't reach anyone over the phone, everything is through their stupid online chat....I paid for the damn thing and the company won't even talk to me?

Sorry for the rant....frustrating!

Any help is much appreciated!

Thanks!

Where are you located? @The Chicken is Northern AZ, but there are a few others in SoCal...may be the same deal though if people are booked out.

Come on, sounds like a DIY project! It probably won't kill you, it's only electricity

Sorry....in the IE. And yes...me and electrical don't really mix! I can do a lot...electrical definitely isn't one of those things.

Was there any documentation provided with the inverter - schematics, assembly layouts, etc?

What does or doesn't the inverter do at present?

Model and serial numbers for the inverter?

I'm not around as much as I used to, also semi retired, still own the company but not as much day to day operation. That said, if you wanted to look at an upgrade we could maybe help, but if you want to redo solaredge I'd pass on the opportunity as its a no win for my group. I really dont care for the product or the support.

Today if you want solar only stay with enphase, if you're considering battery backup you have to look at Tesla. In my opinion Enphase is a better product but at the price you can get Tesla it has to be considered.
