Who has good prices on Mercury outboard motors?

Check with Mercury Reman division. You can get re-manufactured engines and drives for around 2/3 of new retail. They carry the same warranty as new. For a non-performance boat, this is a good way to stay on budget.

I think specialty marine deals specifically with Hondas. Neighbor got a blemished 90 Honda from them for 10k. I believe that was rigged (direct swap) which is huge since I paid 6k alone to have the whaler rigged at pacific marine in Ventura (but that was from scratch with re drilling and filling holes).
