Heck yeah is is!!! My friend took a HUGE pay cut moving up there. He had a good cash down payment when he bought his house, so he's surviving ok. Its tough to be an outsider in an old boy community like that. But, his house is AWESOME, with lots of land in every direction. There will be trade-offs to live there.
