  • I was wondering if you got your def head replaced on your Revolution and if so did you have to drop the tank or access it from the top? My Revolution is doing kind of the same thing as yours did.

Got it! Thanks for the feedback. My tech quoted me $700, which I thought sounded steep... but after hearing how much work is involved, it sounds about right! Hopefully these last another 10 years. Hahah.

@Bullet Bob so it looks like I might need to do this myself... the mobile tech showed up and said the tire needs to come off to access it. Any tips or trick before I tackle this thing DIY style?

Sorry I didn't get back sooner. You have to take the tire off and remove the the mudflap and the inner fender to get access to it. Once you have that off there are 4 bolts that hold the DEF tank to the frame, they are kind of a pain to get to but once you remove them lower the tank down about 6 inches or so with a floor jack. Make sure you have enough slack in the wiring harness that goes to it.
Hey man, sorry to bother you but do you have insurance on your sand rail? If so who do you use?

    Thanks, Nick

Did you have to get your car appraised? Foremost is asking for an appraisal from a reputable offroad shop on company letterhead.

Yep! I'm actually an agent for foremost, and yes I still had to jump through their hoops. I had the appraisal done by BFD when I had it at their shop. Any shop should be able to do it for you, not sure what type of fee they would charge though.
