Krusin for Kids is an event held every year and hosted by Teague Custom Marine. If you have never been to K4K it is a charity event who's focus it is to raise awareness and build community outreach for two organizations, New Horizons and Milemarkers Therapy.
New Horizons is a non-profit organization thatprovides service to people with developmentaldisabilities (Including Autism, Epilepsy andCerebral Palsy in addition to cognitivedisabilities) of all ages, and Milemarkers Therapy is a one stop home forPediatric speech, occupational and physicaltherapy services. They also provide AfterSchool Care, Summer Camp and Adult DayCare and employment services.
For 2016 the boaters of Desert Storm really stepped it up as they came out in droves to offer rides and brighten the day of some great people and the excitement on the faces of these folks is what it's all about.
If you are in the area tonight a silent auction and fund raiser will be held at the Desert Storm Open House party happen at West Coast Drives at 1766 W. Acoma. Come on by and visit with fellow RDP'ers, fellow boaters, and some of the biggest names in the industry as we all kick of Desert Storm 2016 in style for a great cause!
